Don’t Waste Today …

Plz note the hat …  My Easter present 🙂

I did quite a few hearts this week, a lot of politics, some pending drug shortage issues, and just basically a week that tests you- but doesn’t break you.

My daughter is visiting over the Easter holiday, and she put it all into perspective with something as simple as her take home message (see image below)  that we all should probably take more notice of, as we conduct our lives as perfusionists.

We spend a lot of time worrying about everybody else- always being ready, never “not having an answer”, no margin for error, just the basic stuff we do…

So time to take a break, and allow yourself to spend a fraction of the amount of life you give to your patients, and give it back to yourself…
