Thanks to your efforts and photo contributions, there will be an International Perfusion Art Gallery showing at the 2014 CREF perfusion conference 🙂

“The hope is that this collection will eventually be featured at the National Perfusion Conference…”

… is now no longer a question.

The 1st Gallery is complete and ready to move 1300 miles west to San Diego, CA.

The pictures will be presented on a 24″ x 36″ canvas format and mounted on rustic metallic easels.

San Diego is awesome ! A place I used to call home, did my undergraduate studies there, and was accepted to the Grossmont College Perfusion Program.

Retransfusate contains negligible amounts of potentially thrombogenic EVs from platelet and monocytic origin. Frequent EVs from erythrocytes may indicate red blood cell destruction and/or activation during autologous cell salvage. Further research is needed to investigate the clinical relevance of EVs from salvaged red blood cells.
