The COVID WARS: Is it Covid 19 “ISH” ? We Need a GamePlan!
YES… They are US!
Editor’s Note:
I’ve been down South for a couple of months now. I was standing on the side lines for 10 weeks- which in all honesty is a far sicker place to be than confronting this elusive snake- COVID 19 ISH.
The reason that “ISH” is even in the conversation here is because of the total lack of an organized structure to defeat this virus in it’s tracks. In medicine- nobody gives a shit about politics- we just want to know where to aim the tip of the spear. I think that’s a reasonable approach to defeat an organism that will end up taking millions of souls away from prior destiny’s that shall be erased and unfulfilled as a result of misguidance and misdirection.
What’s amazing to me at this point is that we haven’t watched our own die as much as predictions say they should be dying when considering the amount of time and exposure that we are now dealing with. Maybe that will come later, but honestly? I feel safer in a war zone- than the complacency outside of it. I certainly won’t lie to you and say that COVID mortality doesn’t scare me- but there seems to be an odd sense- that we can survive it. I see no fear here.
I do believe that masks and sanitizers work.
With those in place- the occasional breaches in social distancing tend to be less scary- but hopefully not misguided by political sentiment. We all love our countries. As Americans- we all love America. A presidential race should not be at the cost of American lives- that’s obviously not even a question. The only side to be on- is the combined effort to raise ourselves up- and give water to those who need it. To save those afflicted. That’s all I see every day I go to work. Brave people- helping those that are sick- and those brave people have so many names. And they are so exposed.
I PRAY for my friends and family that I don’t want to lose- but I can’t write a list.
It’s stupid to write a list- because honestly- that means you have to prioritize who dies last. No one wants to hear another person’s list. And certainly- noone wants to be first or last.
A shout Out!
Way to go Chris– Chelsea– Amy– Stephanie–Richard– You are the front line HEROS that have confronted COVID 19- and continue to do so- day in and day out.
