Restarting with Covid-19: Seven Key Action Items

After quickly redeploying resources to take on the Covid-19 crisis, leaders now need to de-deploy staff, but not to the way things were. Leaders must consider what consumers and providers will demand of their health care system and deliver on that in a way that secures confidence and trust. Among the key areas to focus on: procedures and diagnostics; surgery; office visits; med/surg and ICU; faculty and trainees; and administrative operations and staffing.
