About The Picture:

Hey Frank!

Its Mike Arciszewski, the perfusionist from Hartford Hospital you had met at the CREF meeting this past week. You will find that picture i showed you at the meeting attached in this email. The name of the picture is “Looking Under the Hood”, which I thought would represent the picture well since it is a inferior look at the delphin head and oxygenator, the work horses of the system. The pump is a terumo system 1 and it was taken at Hartford Hospital in CT where i work. I took this picture on my iphone 5.

Also, I was very impressed with your website and photos as well as your overall mission to bring Perfusion and Cardiac Surgery itself to the forefront of public media. I am the Vice President of the Connecticut Society of Perfusionists. I was hoping and wanted to extend and invitation to you to show off your photos as you did at the CREF meeting at our vendor exhibits. Our spring meeting is May 3rd and it is a 8 to 5 kind of a day. I think it would be a great and new addition to our meeting that our state has never seen before. Having your photos spread out across the meeting as they were in CREF will only enhance the experiance for all the perfusionists, MDs, and students attending. Let me know if you can make it out to CT for this!

Also let me know about the photo I sent you and looking forward to talking with you soon. Have a great night!

Sincerely,

Michael Arciszewski MHS CCP

Any Donations are for the cost and development of an International Perfusion Art Gallery, Framing, Printing, Matting, and Expenses associated with delivering the Gallery to future Perfusion Conferences.

A project of this nature hasn’t been tried before, but it would be a lot of fun to see something like this at a perfusion conference, as an effort to improve and develop our international awareness as well as appreciate some very dynamic art !

Anything helps- $10 -$25 or whatever- It will all add up…

🙂
