Perfusion 101: Cannulation Sketches
Editor’s Note:
How often have you found yourself drawing on the back of a piece of paper, your chart, a napkin, a paper towel, or a scrap of paper- in order to draw a picture describing an anatomical aspect of perfusion, the heart, or cannulation?
I know that I have done it more times than I can count, and I am a horrible artist to say the least 🙂
So the other day, as was my habit- I started to grab the closest scrap of paper near me to once again draw something out for a visiting student, when my good friend and colleague- Renee CCP, told me to “simmer down” and snagged a pre-printed diagram of heart cannulation (yes that gem you see right above my face) 🙂
So I present a few other diagrams, that I sniffed around for- more as an informative pictorial educational gallery- to entertain your visitors the next time they come visit the OR.
Enjoy and have a great day! 🙂
