Jostra North America Announces Reorganization Plans
The Woodlands, Texas. September 3, 2002 Jostra North America recently announced ongoing efforts to reorganize their North American operation. Some of the more prominent tasks in the reorganization have been to move the national headquarters to a more central location in Texas. Also the US, Puerto Rico and Canadian organizations have been placed under a single management team. A new distribution and sterilization facility was also opened in Conroe Texas. The distribution facility will be utilized to receive products from the manufacturing sites and distribute them to customers in the US market.
As part of the reorganization efforts a new and more versatile information system has been installed. The JDE system will be utilized to guide manufacturing, sales and customer service operations. Jostra has also recently contracted with Surge Medical, a dedicated sales organization, to represent their line of cardiopulmonary cannulae. During the reorganization efforts all facets of the organization are being scrutinized to create a more streamlined and focused operation.
Michael Sorna, President of Jostra North America stated, “We have had a single goal in mind and that is to create a more flexible, mobile, and responsive organization. Jostra wants to become a more customer-driven organization and we want to put the people and processes in place that will allow us to focus more fully on our customers.” Mr. Sorna went on to say, “Jostra is committed to the US market and we are working very hard to develop ways to better serve our customers and to achieve our mission statement of providing the most innovative, creative and highest quality products on a timely basis to our customers in the US market.”
