Quick Reference: Failure to Oxygenate
- Increase FiO2 to 100%.
- Check all connections (wall, to and from
blender, vaporizer, oxygenator, leur lock cap). - Check for cracks in O2 filter.
- Blender will not alarm if both oxygen and air
are nonfunctional. - Connect portable tanks and remove lines from
wall and attach to tanks. Open and make
sure air and oxygen pressures are within 15-20 PSI of each other. Flow on tanks should be around 5 L/min.
