Fresenius Medical Aquires the Extracorporeal Alliance
Everest Healthcare Services Corp., the parent company of The Extracorporeal
Alliance, announced on Nov. 2, 2000 that it has signed a definitive agreement
to be acquired by Fresenius Medical Care. Fresenius if the largest dialysis
provider in the world serving over 88,000 ESRD patients. Information about

transaction is expected to close by the end of the year.
The Alliance is a leading provider of perfusion services in the U.S. We
believe this event will enhance our ability to provide the high quality and
