UI Carver College of Medicine Perfusion Technology

Since 1992, the University of Iowa has been training perfusion professionals through intensive academic preparation, laboratory simulation, and clinical education. Clinical experience is gained from six staff perfusionists working at UI Hospitals and Clinics—recognized as one of the best hospitals in the United States and Iowa’s only comprehensive academic medical center and a regional referral center.
