Milwaukee School of Engineering Perfusion Program

MSOE offers a Milwaukee, WI-based program with several local clinical partners but with the option of participating in rotations outside the city at the students’ request. Students typically complete about 125 clinical cases as the primary perfusionist. These cases are in addition to observations and circumstances in which the student is not acting as the primary. Clinical experiences start in the first semester, with clinical cases in the morning/day and didactic courses offered in the evening. Students will also participate in high-fidelity simulation and rigorous didactic courses in the medical sciences (physiology, pathophysiology, etc.), the practice of perfusion, and research methodology.
