There are two hospitals in this area, 10 minutes apart, that perform approximately 50-75 hearts annually combined.  The caseload is primarily adult CABGs and valves, with ATS for OB, ortho and trauma as well.  The low case volume allows an excellent work-life balance, with 50% call between 2 perfusionists.  The hospital teams are cohesive and friendly, and working with the speedy surgeons is a pleasure

We have openings for Adult and Pediatric Perfusionists as well as Lead roles in both areas.  The Clinical Perfusionist provides extra corporeal patient care services.  Provides safe and physiologically adequate body perfusion to patients during surgery requiring either partial or total cardiovascular bypass support.  Determines appropriate flow rate of perfusion during surgery.  Determines and prepares appropriate equipment to be used for individual procedure.
