Northern Kentucky University (NKU), a regionally engaged public comprehensive university located in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, is seeking a dynamic, student-centric candidate to serve as The Inaugural Program Director for its MS in Cardiovascular Perfusion Program.

NKU’s Cardiovascular Perfusion Program, housed in the College of Health and Human Services, is located in the university’s new $105 million Health Innovation Center (HIC) that serves as an anchor for transdisciplinary education and interprofessional training.  The HIC is home to the NKU Center for Simulation Education (CSE). The CSE is fully accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and features multiple inpatient and outpatient simulation areas including an operating room and multi-bed critical care rooms.

Seeking an experienced Perfusionist who may be interested in slowing down in their career. Location is in Aiken, SC, but you may live in Augusta, GA. This is a one person account. This new team member would do a minimal number of open heart cases, approximately 50 per year but will have the capability to travel to nearby accounts for additional cases. South Carolina is not a licensure state – however, it is preferred that you obtain your license in Georgia if there is a need to assist. This account has mostly CABG, some AVR and occasional MVR, adult only.

* The equipment for Abdominal Hyperthermic Perfusion (HIPEC) procedures.
* The equipment for patients receiving advanced cardiovascular life support at all hospitals.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an Accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology Program.
* Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or board-eligible may also be considered.
* Five plus years as a Clinical Perfusionist
