Perfusionist

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH

Full-time and Part-time positions are available.

Ready to find a better work-life balance? Do you want to live where you play?

Simply put, most people who live in the upper valley of New Hampshire and Vermont consider themselves to be thoroughly spoiled. The region is rich in everything you’d ever want; small-town life, lots of four-season outdoor activities—summer’s hiking trails become winter’s cross-country skiing trails—a surfeit of culture, great food, unique shopping possibilities, intellectual stimulation, and last but not least, friendly people. Quaint little towns and old-fashioned general stores dot the region, heralding a view to a bygone agricultural era that is still alive and kicking.

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital for the Dartmouth-Geisel School of Medicine. We are looking for cardiovascular perfusionists to add to our phenomenal team.

·       Experienced perfusionists or new grads with exceptional experience are encouraged to apply.

·       We offer a competitive salary and benefit packages and a relatively low number of after hour call-backs and emergency cases.

·       Our welcoming and cooperative team is hiring for a sixth perfusionist to work with four experienced and pleasant surgeons.

·       Our exceptional cardiac anesthesia team, PAs and RNs, collaborate to treat the largest geographical region in New England.

·       Case load includes CABG, valves, aortic work, standby for TAVR and lead extractions, occasional AngioVac, with no transplant or VAD cases.

·       Our multidisciplinary ECMO team handles 10-15 ECMO per year with RTs doing the majority of bedside coverage and the perfusion team managing initiations, daily rounding, and occasional transport.

·       Relocation will be provided with bonus incentives available.

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of post-graduate school in Perfusion or the equivalent in education and experience required.

·       Experience with membrane oxygenation, roller and centrifugal pumps, and intra-aortic balloon pumps preferred.
