Our perfusion team consists of 4 people and look to fill the 5th and 6th position. Call is once a week and weekend call would be 1 every 5th and/or 6th weekend. We are a small team and try to back each other if needed.

The team in St Helena is comprised of two highly successful surgeons, wonderful and easy to get along with support staff. We provide coverage for about 100 standby cases and a 150 pump cases per year. This workload is shared between two people.

SHH is located in the Northern Napa Valley of California on the famed Howell Mountain (which is one of the most famous wine growing regions in all of the world). The call radius is 45 minutes which opens up the entire area to affordable housing options.

The ECMO/ECLS Specialist provides safe and effective care by operating and maintaining the extracorporeal circuit to patients with compromised pulmonary and/or cardiac support.
