Description: Comprehensive Care Services Inc. is looking for a Director of Perfusion in Winchester, VA. This dynamic candidate will need at least three-five years of experience accompanied by Management experience. The selected candidate will ensure that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available. Ensures that the Perfusion Department responds to Open Heart Surgery, Autotransfusion, Pump Standby and IABP according to protocols and Hospital agreement. Performs procedures relative to the physiological management of patients’ circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon.

Annually in the spring of May, Winchester plays host to over 250,000 visitors to witness the famous Apple Blossom Festival four consecutive days. Winchester offers several historical museums, beautiful interior/exterior architecture buildings, scenic country roads with beautiful views going to tasty farms that sell fruit, produce, meats and other treats.
Just be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient, and families. Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and be Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and have current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
