Job Description
1. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of all clinical skills used in patient care and operation of all perfusion equipment in the medical center, in a manner that exemplifies a commitment to high levels of quality and teamwork.
2. Regularly and thoroughly performs assigned departmental tasks in a manner that assures a cohesive and uninterrupted workflow for all members of the perfusion services department.
3. Effectively participates in the day-to-day clinical and operational needs of the perfusion services department, and functions as an equal shareholder in all clinical and on-call duties.
4. Demonstrates a commitment to continuing education and departmental innovation in a manner that exemplifies a commitment to high levels of quality for patient care.
5. Demonstrates a satisfactory commitment to Mercy Service Standards.
6. Demonstrates a commitment to fostering good communication, coordination of services, quality improvement initiatives, and general teamwork for all personnel in the surgical and intensive care suites.
