CAK Enterprises LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Perfusionist to join our growing healthcare team in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are looking for professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting advanced cardiovascular programs. This position offers opportunities in the major healthcare markets of New Orleans.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor heart-lung machine
- Initiate and troubleshoot ECMO
- Operate Cell Saver and autotransfusion equipment
- Anticoagulation management and hematologic monitoring
- Help insert and manage ventricular assist devices
- Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Maintain patient safety standards and accurate perfusion records
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program
- Certification (CCP) or eligibility through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
- Current BLS certifications required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- New graduates and experienced perfusionists encouraged to apply
