Associate Editor’s Wanted: South & Central America, Canada, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Russia, China, SE Asia, Australia/South Pacific…
Editor’s Note:
Dear fellow colleagues. Thank you for taking the time to read this “help wanted” ad.
Currently, CircuitSurfers.com is searching for energetic and culturally diverse representation in the recognition that we as an organization- are geographically under-represented in the South Americas, European, Balkan, Chinese, East Asian, and Australian/South Pacific medical markets/sectors.
We are looking for content editors, reporters, and medical marketing specialists, to inject their perspectives into our unique perfusion platform, in order to assure that we are representing the global perfusion community in it’s entirety.
At this point in time, there would be no monetary compensation, however the opportunity to express your opinion and contribute your valuable insights to the international perfusion community would represent a tremendous career opportunity for any perfusionists seeking to further their impact on the profession as well as peer recognition. It is a rare opportunity to have access to a platform allowing you to express your position or opinion/reflections regarding advanced cardiac approaches to an international audience.
Having been in Perfusion for 26 years, being published in clinical journals, writing a chapter in a Cardiac Anesthesia text book, as well as being a previous editor of Perfusion Life/AMSECT Today, I can assure you that this is an amazing opportunity that rarely presents itself. If you want to make a difference, have your voice heard, or make an academic/community name for yourself- well this is it 🙂
Posting requirements are very broad scoped and tailored to your independent perspective. There is tremendous latitude in terms of material deemed acceptable for publication. Your limitations are your own native creativity- and whatever perspective you choose to employ to send a message that is informative, or relates in any way- shape- or form to cardiac health, patient survival, cardiac surgery, quality of life, psycho-social aspects and impact of cardiac surgery to a patient as well as family members, sharing your personal perspective and what drives you, what scares you, and what motivates you into the profession as well as your self perception on how your personal drive delivers and/or intercedes to mitigate whatever coexisting factors may exist that represent a potential negative impact on patient outcome.
Basically- it boils down to injecting your own personal position statement into written essays on why you are in the field, and why you care,- and how you feel regarding your impact on patient lives and outcomes. It’s not an XYZ explanation of the physics of perfusion- more so- an extrapolation of why you actually love doing what you do- or don’t? It’s all good regardless 🙂
We look forward to hearing from you 🙂
