Director of Perfusion- McLaren Macomb

​Comprehensive Care Services Inc. is looking for a Director of Perfusion for McLaren Macomb in Mount Clemens, MI with at least 3 to 5 years of experience accompanied by management experience.  The selected candidate will guarantee that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available.  Ensures that the Perfusion Department responds to Open Heart Surgery, Autotransfusion, Pump Standby and IABP according to protocols and Hospital agreement.  Primarily CABGs, isolated valves, and TAVRs.  Performs procedures relative to the physiological management of patients’ circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon.

Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families. Must have bachelor’s or master’s degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and have current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
